Arkona BQ & El Greco BQ Volume

Originally cut by the Gensch & Heyse type foundry in Germany, this script has a distinctly penned, calligraphic feel. A gentle slope and rather open characters make the Arkona font suitable for display lines in advertising, flyers and casual headlines. Designed for the Berthold Type Foundry in 1964, the El Greco font has a rather upright, calligraphic style. Capitals are freely formed but clearly based on penned shapes, lowercase are quite narrow and angular. An attractive script, El Greco is useful where an air of formality is required, in advertising, invitations etc.
